When should I start to feel the effects?
In most cases it takes 3-6 weeks before you start to feel the benefits. Keep in mind that you will feel the benefits gradually, not all at once. To receive the maximum benefits you should continue to take GenFlex for at least 3 months.
Can I take more than 2 capsules (1500mg) a day?
If you’re not achieving a response from the recommended dose within 8 weeks please consult your GP. It’s important to find out if there are any other factors that need be to investigated and treated to help provide you with the best possible outcome. Research has shown that some people require more than 1500mg per day. Your GP can manage any increases in your dosage.
What can I do to help get the best possible treatment outcome?
Adopting a lifestyle approach will help you achieve optimal results. Start by asking your GP about things like assessing your body mechanics. Your GP can also direct your safe participation in exercise and provide guidance re: your diet and other osteoarthritis-specific medications that may be right for you (e.g. – GenFlex or GenFlex Plus)
Once I feel better can I stop taking GenFlex?
At this stage, we would recommend that you keep taking GenFlex. To date, research suggests that you may feel great for a while, but the symptoms can return.
Should I take GenFlex with or without food?
You can take GenFlex with or without food. However, it is best to take your dose at about the same time each day.
I am a diabetic, can I take GenFlex?
If you are an insulin dependent diabetic it is recommended that you consult your GP or Allied Health Professional before starting any treatment.
Are there any side effects?
Minor stomach upsets have been reported in clinical trials.
Does GenFlex contain common salt?
Unlike glucosamine sulfate products, there is no common salt in GenFlex products.
What is the difference between GenFlex and GenFlex Plus?
GenFlex Plus also contains chondroitin sulfate. Chondroitin sulfate has been shown to work together with glucosamine to give even better cartilage regeneration and help to reduce the inflammation that causes pain.
